LETRILLA III
GOOD HEAVENS, THEY KNOW HOW TO FLY!

Good heavens, geese fly!
Good heavens, they know how to fly!

Walking on the ground
I saw a small goose,
and raising his beak
he came to me in flight,
it gave me great consolation
see him flap.
Good heavens, geese fly!
Good heavens, they know how to fly!

The funny goose
started to itch me,
and even to fall in love
his loving beak;
more like treacherous
he left me again.
Good heavens, geese fly!
Good heavens, they know how to fly!

He was so nice
that he left me calm,
giving pleasure to my soul
his graceful beak,
because he was, although small,
big on the itch.
Good heavens, geese fly!
Good heavens, they know how to fly!

I wish I never seen him,
cause I sweetly assisted him,
and cruel he fled.
He just left me alone
to feel and love.
Good heavens, geese fly!
Good heavens, they know how to fly!

Oh cruel love
when you want peace
what compliments do you do,
when not, how unfaithful!
Where will I go after him
if I don't know how to fly?
Good heavens, geese fly!
Good heavens, they know how to fly!
